The Week in Review

Well, this week was the last week of classes, and with them ending on Wednesday, work got a lot busier the past few days. Ridiculously so. I just got back from work and I'm beat, so I apologize in advance if my mind isn't all there.

I think one of the funnier things to happen this week was earlier in the week at work. We received a letter from the lawyers of Tech Bookstore, which is just two blocks down from us. The letter said that all Bookholders employees, contractors, agents, laborers, etc, were banned from their premises, and if found there, would be charged with trespassing. I thought this was hilarious, firstly because there's no way they can enforce that, and secondly, because of their use of language to ensure that we can in no way send an employee over there by any other title, they actually unwittingly included everyone who sells a book with us, or has passed out flyers for us. So technically, anyone who sells their book through the bookholders system, is banned from Tech Bookstore...

Kirsten has changed her mind on the beard, and is now encouraging me to keep it. I'm fine with that for now, it saves me a few minutes each morning. However, I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it after next week for Chili Cookoff and the beach... it might be a bit unbearable... But we shall see.

Last night, Kirsten and I made a fort in my room with all my spare sheets and blankets. The roof went from one wall to the bed, and was held on the bed by shoes weighing it down. Well, I left the fort to go get Zubie. When I eventually brought him in the room, I got him to jump up on the bed. He almost knocked the shoes off the bed right off the bat. Then, from inside, Kirsten poked the sheet that made the roof. Zubie immediately went to attack her hand and stepped right off the bed and into nothing, collapsing the fort and falling face first into the ground. I don't think I actually breathed for a few minutes I was laughing so hard.

Overall, this week seemed to go on forever and I am so glad it's the weekend. I'm already hoping next week to be over too so I can take a week long vacation from work.

I've probably left out boatloads of stuff... but I best be going to shower and then watch hockey... C-A-P-S CAPS CAPS CAPS!

All the best to you and yours,

-TES
